Punjab to establish new dental college
The Provincial Minister for Health, Dr. Yasmin Rashid has announced a plan of Punjab government to establish new dental college at Faisalabad Medical University.
During a syndicate meeting of the university, Dr. Rashid said that a plan has been finalized to establish a dental college.
The minister said that the provincial government has earmarked record health budget of Rs. 370 billion for the current year besides a dedicated allocation of Rs. 22 billion from the center.

While speaking about the ongoing fourth wave of coronavirus, Dr.Rashid highlighted the need for people to be aware and get vaccinated. She urged media to spread awareness on vaccination.
“In the last 24 hours, 1,240 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Punjab. Around 70 percent cases are linked to the Delta variant,” she stated.
