Children in grades 3 through 8 will take tests that include both objective and subject components, while students in grades 1 and 2 will be evaluated through oral exams.
All children in grades 3 to 8 will take written exams in Urdu, English, Mathematics, General Science, and Social Sciences, while Muslim students will be assessed in Islamiat and non-Muslims will be required to take an Ethics exam.
Note that the SNC for KP to 8 classes was prepared and introduced by the PTI-led federal government in August 2021. Except for Sindh, which openly rejects the SNC, all provinces are witnessing the ongoing academic under the SNC.

Sindh has retained its position that the SNC was established hastily and without taking the Sindh government into account. It also didn't bother to look at the 1973 Constitution, which states that education is solely a subject for the provinces.
