Punjab crosses 300,000 enrollment under ‘Mera School Drive’ in 55 days.
Punjab’s Minister for School Education, Dr. Murad Raas, tweeted this week that through ‘Mera School’ program the government had enrolled 317,849 students by 1 February 2021, out of which 190,498 are girls and 127,351 are boys.

The minister said that the officers are working extremely hard for the Enrolment Drive in all 36 Districts. “My hats off to them for producing such extraordinary results in these COVID 19 conditions. Great Team Effort,” he tweeted.
Earlier the minister had said that they have set an annual target of bringing one million children to public schools but according to the current stats, the government is set to achieve the target at a lesser point.

As reported by the minister, the top five districts with the most enrolments are Rajanpur, Layyah, Nankana, Jhelum, and Chakwal.
The enrolment process will last until the official timetable for classes is announced
