Punjab Board announces exam schedule for primary and secondary classes
RAWALPINDI: The annual examinations for Class I to VIII across Punjab will start from May 18 immediately after Eid-ul-Fitr. The annual exams result will be based on 50% marks of homework and 50% marks of exams.

The children of primary classes will have English, Maths and General Knowledge examinations orally, while the Punjab Examination Commission will prepare the papers of other classes. All exams will be completed by May 31, and the results will be announced by June 10.

Notification of the annual examination schedule has been issued to the education officers of all 36 districts. Homework given in online classes will be regularly checked, and its marks will also be provided. According to educational sources, no student from class first to fifth will be given fail.
