Punjab Health Department extends vacations for medical colleges
The health department of Punjab has prolonged the vacations of all the medical colleges due to alarming situation of COVID-19 in the province until May 2nd.
Medical colleges have been granted extended holidays, according to a notification released by the provincial Health Department, after the coronavirus claimed the lives of a hundred people in the last twenty-four hours.

For the next two weeks, all medical institutions, including medical, dental, nursing, and paramedical schools, will be closed, with only the personnel responsible for official and clerical duties staying on the job.
Furthermore, all of the exams will be held according to their schedules.

Following a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in the province, the government of Balochistan has also ordered the closing of all schools in the province.
The provincial Minister for Education announced that “All government schools will stay closed till Eid-ul-Fitr”.
