Thousands of students protest against the occupation of a girls' school in Lahore
Thousands of female students protested against the alleged attempt to occupy the school in the Walton area of Lahore and shouted slogans against the land-grabbing mafia.
The school administration said that the father of PTI MPA Ahsan Briar has tried to occupy the school building which has been established for 42 years.
On the other hand, PTI MPA Ahsan Briar says that they have bought this place and did not try to occupy it. It is where thousands of female students can safely study.
It was further stated that an attempt is being made to close down the school by occupying it, which has put the future of thousands of girls at stake. The Punjab government is requested to stop the attempt to occupy the school and make the future of girls’ education secure.
