Paid internships for students by Sindh Police
The Hyderabad Range of the Sindh Police and the Department of Criminology at Karachi University have come together to sign an agreement under which the former would grant three-month paid internships to the latter's students in order to help them get professional experience.
Pir Muhammad Shah, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Hyderabad, and Prof. Dr. Nabi Narejo, the Chairman of the Department of Criminology, inked the agreement last week, according to information.
The interns will be assigned to various police stations within the area as part of the agreement. They will become acquainted with the operations of the various branches of the Hyderabad Police Department.
Interns will get professional experience that will benefit them in the future. To bridge the gap between the people and the police, they will also present a good side of the cops.
In February, the Peshawar Range of the KP Police and Peshawar University signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
Peshawar Police committed to provide internship opportunities to Peshawar University students in order to help them gain professional experience under the terms of the MoU.
