MDCAT 2020 will be held as per schedule
Islamabad: The Medical and Dental College Entry Examination (MDCAT) will occur on November 29, as planned, under the strict enforcement of standard operating procedures (SOP s) for coronavirus.
Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Health, said yesterday at a press conference that all admission and professional examinations will take place on their respective dates.

He emphasized that during the examinations, the enforcement of precautionary steps must be assured.
The decision was taken during the Conference of Inter-Provincial Ministers of Education (IPEMC) to discuss educational institutions' closing in the country.
The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) stated last week that it would conduct the 2020 MDCAT on November 29.

"Upon compliance with the directions of the Honorable Sindh High Court, the National MDCAT will be held on November 29, 2020," said the PMC.
The development came a week after the Sindh High Court barred the PMC from holding the MDCAT 2020 scheduled for November 15.
