Karachi Inter Board has announced special exams for students who are underperforming
Special examinations have been issued by the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) to allow students to enhance their grades in order to be eligible to apply for university admissions.
Dr. Saeed Uddin, the Chairman of BIEK, announced the decision on Wednesday, saying that the special exams will benefit students in the Pre-Engineering group who received D or E grades in this year's Intermediate exams.
He also stated that the unique examination schedule would be released soon.
Candidates who got less than 45 percent on intermediate exams are not allowed to enroll in any university, according to the Higher Education Commission's (HEC) policy.
