HEC warns students pertaining to fake degree attestation
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has warned students to beware of the individuals impersonating as the official degree verification agents of HEC.
In a notification issued by the educational body on Monday, it stated that there are some people masquerading as degree and transcript verification agents.

"HEC wants to bring your notice towards [a matter] that some people are pretending to be transcript and degree verification agents," the commission noted.
The institute has also said that it is noticed that some of these individuals had imprinted fake HEC stamps on the original degrees and transcripts of the students.
The HEC has also warned the students that in case, any such degree brought to the institute notice, the commission has the authority to seize it.
