HEC creates an online facility for equivalence of local degrees
To assist graduates, Pakistan's Higher Education Commission (HEC) has created an online tool for equivalence of degrees issued by Pakistani universities and degree giving institutes.
This is a paperless method, and candidates will no longer be needed to visit HEC offices or transmit their documents to HEC for qualification equivalency. They can register from the comfort of their own homes by making an online profile at 'eservices.hec.gov.pk' and uploading HEC-attested educational records from Bachelor's level upwards, as well as a paid fee challan.
The applications will be processed through an online system, and applicants will receive equivalence letters created by the system through email. The new equivalence portal is a reliable and easy-to-use system with all of the necessary security measures.
Applicants will also be notified of the progress of their applications via system-generated emails at each level.
