HEC announces PERIDOT research program funding for teachers
The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has announced the PERIDOT research program for the public and private universities in Pakistan.
The research program, which is a collaborative effort of Pak-France, invites the researchers' applications to bring innovation and advancement in their respective fields.

The program, a joint venture, is implemented by the HEC in Pakistan and France Ministry of foreign affairs and International Development and Ministry of Higher Education & Research in France. The ministry holds the power to provide opportunities to the eligible students. It allows both the countries to work on technological advancement and scientific corporation by utilizing the given resources.
Disciplines in focus
The significant disciplines in which the researchers are invited to submit their joint research proposal are Health, Human & Social Sciences, and Environmental Sciences/Climate Change.

After the research proposals are shortlisted, the maximum allowed duration will be three years. However, the anticipated number of grants will be provided up to 5 per year.
Last Date to Apply
The last date to apply in the PERIDOT Research Program is 7th December 2020. The researchers can submit their proposals through the HEC online portal.
