Governor Punjab takes strict notice for removing Islamic teachings from the curriculum
Lahore: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, taking stern notice of the curriculum change pointed out by the scholars, also directed the Secretary Schools to stop implementing the recommendations of the Shoaib Suddle Commission.

According to Express News, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar was met by Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, Maulana Hanif Jalandhari, Chairman Ruwit Hilal Committee Abdul Khabir Azad and others. Maulana Tahir Ashrafi said that strict action should be taken against all those involved in this matter.
Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar took strict notice of the change in the curriculum at the suggestion of the scholars and directed the Secretary Schools to stop implementing the recommendations of the Shoaib Suddle Commission.

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said that content related to Islam and Muslims would be included in the curriculum, and Islamic content in the curriculum will not be limited to Islamic studies only, nor will Islamic teachings be removed from the curriculum.
