Government Nursing Colleges announce BSN admissions for 2023
The Punjab government announces admission into 43 public sector nursing colleges to offer BS Nursing Generic 4 year programs. Nursing colleges in these districts are affiliated with government hospitals.
In order to apply through the online system, candidates must register on the web-portal http://pnas2.phf.gop.pk/ between the 3rd and 18th of April, 2023. Applications will not be accepted after 18th April.
Attested copies of all required documents should be uploaded, including copy of CNIC (Front & Back), F.Sc. diploma, and matriculation certificate.
As per government policy, selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.31,470/- during the degree program.
Criteria for BSN General (4-Year Degree Program)
Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are mandatory subjects at the Matric level.
F.Sc. (Pre-Medical) from a recognized university with a minimum mark of 50%.
If two or more candidates have equal marks in F.Sc. (Premedical), their merits will be determined based on their Matric marks.
In case two or more candidates have equal marks in F.Sc. (Pre-medical) and Matric with Science, their merit will be assessed on the basis of rank according to the candidate's age.
A decision will be made by the SIIC&ME Department if all other factors are equal.
Admissions will only be open to females, with an age limit of 35 years. Additionally, their residency should be in Punjab.
In order to ensure transparency in the admissions process, the Punjab Health Foundation (PHF) Lahore has devised a centralized/online system to enable candidates to specify their preferences for admission to the 43 Nursing Colleges outlined below.
As per government policy, admissions will be based solely on merit and preference.
Online admissions will, however, be supervised by the Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department.
As a processing fee, candidates must deposit Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) in any branch of the Bank of Punjab through Account No. 6580048830600077 of the Punjab Health Foundation, Lahore. In the event that a candidate fails to join the concerned college within the specified time frame after being selected on merit, her name will be struck off the admission process, and the vacant seat will be offered to the next most qualified candidate.
Please note that applications received by mail directly to Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department/ Punjab Health Foundation or Directorate General Nursing, Punjab, Lahore will not be considered/accepted. To facilitate the candidates, instructions, guidelines, schedules, merit lists, etc., will be posted periodically on the web-portal.
