Principal Beats Protesting Students of Government College of Nursing in Karachi

During a protest against the alleged harassment and embezzlement of scholarships by the principal of the Government College of Nursing in Karachi, Shabana Baloch and Lyari mobsters publicly tortured a student. The video went viral.

Protests took place outside the Sindh Secretariat on Thursday against the alleged abuse by the school's principal and usurpation of their stipends.

Principal Shabana Baloch was also accompanied by Nursing Superintendent Hawa Bibi and Staff Nurse Mehraul Nsaya, who publicly brutalized a student during the protest.

A video of the incident went viral on social media, showing Shabana Baloch, Hawa Bibi and Mehraul Nasa torturing a protesting student while accusing him of sexual harassment and the police on this occasion

Students protesting said the government deposits their stipends in their accounts, but the principal sends goons from Lyari along with the students to forcefully take the stipends. There has been a long history of this.

The Sindh Health Department has remained silent on why the principal came and tortured the peaceful protesters. Assembly member Abdul Rasheed has also raised his voice about the matter at hand.

As a result, he requested that the Sindh Health Minister and the Health Secretary take notice of the matter and give them justice.
