Applicants seeking regular or self-supporting admission to 4-year undergraduate BS programs at Government College University are invited to apply for spring admission in 2023. There is an open admission process for spring 2023 at GCU's main campus in Lahore (Katchery Road) and at GCU's newly constructed campus.
There are limited seats in each admission quota, so interested candidates should apply as soon as possible.
BISE top 3 position holders will also receive 100% tuition scholarships (including hostel housing) from GCU.

- Management
- Physics
Kala Shah Kaku Campus BS programs:
- Geography
- History
- Art History
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Disaster Management
GCU's admission requirements are as follows:
- Applicants must have completed HSSC/Intermediate or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks
- GCU Pre-admission Entry Test is mandatory for all candidates, regardless of whether they are applying on a regular or self-supporting basis
- Only candidates with disabilities are exempt from the GCU Pre-admission Entry Test
- Following the interview, successful candidates must appear for an interview in their respective offices
- No retakes of entry tests will be permitted
- Applicants must score at least 50% on the Pre-admission Entry Test
- The final merit list requires at least 50% marks to pass the GCU interview
How to apply to GCU:
- GCU's official website offers online application options
- Sign up at the admissions portal by clicking on the admissions section
- Upload your scanned documents and provide your personal details.
- The application processing fee challan will be generated
- A fee of Rs. 1500/- must be paid at any branch of United Bank Ltd (UBL)
- Application processing fees are non-refundable and must be paid separately for each form
GCU admission points to note:
- Fees paid through UBL, Omni, or mobile wallet apps are not acceptable
- Online applications are the only way to apply. No couriers or postal services are needed
- Each category/program must submit its own admission form
- As an elective subject at Intermediate/A-Level/ Equivalent, candidates applying for BS Electronics, Mathematics, Physics & Statistics must have studied Mathematics (200 marks).
- Applicants who have not studied Mathematics may apply for BS Electronics, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics, provided they study the deficient mathematics courses after admission
- These additional courses will incur a separate fee
- The Department of Electronics offers BS Electronics to DAE diploma holders only
- A D.Com holder is eligible for a BS Commerce program
- The University requires an A-Level or FSc (Pre-Medical/Pre-Engineering), ICS (Computer Science), and a BSc (Environmental Science & Gender and Climate Change)
- During admissions, a quota of 2% will be applied to minorities and the differently-abled
- The schedule of the GCU Entrance Test and Interviews will be available on students' admission portal: https://www.gcu.edu.pk/admissions.php
- Emails/SMS will not be sent separately to anyone
