FPSC Announces CSS 2019 Result

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the result of the 2019 CSS examination for hiring against grade 17 under the federal government.

Punjab's Rana Haider Tahir has topped the CSS 2019 exams and recommended by the FPSC to Pakistan administrative service (PAS). Whereas Punjab's Muhammad Daud Saleemi and Gilgit Baltistan / FATA's Uzair Ali Khan have stood 2nd and 3rd respectively, and both have recommended to PAS. Abdul Basit Siddiqui from Sindh Urban's examinations has ranked 5th in the final result of CSS 2019 and topped the exams from Sindh Urban has recommended to PAS. Nadeem Baloch has listed 6th position in CSS examination and topped in Sindh Rural examinations, recommended to PAS. Anum Babur has ranked 8th and topped in the KP examinations, recommended to PAS. Farwa Batool has got 9th ranked in CSS examination and topped from Balochistan, recommended to PAS. Usman Aziz Mir has topped from Azad Jammu & Kashmir examinations, and got 46th position in CSS examination has recommended to PAS.

Initially, 23,403 candidates had applied for the examination CSS 2019. But only 14,521 candidates appeared in the exam, and out of 14,521, only 372 participants qualified in the written exam. Out of 372 participants who cleared the exam of CSS 2019, 214 were recommended for final appointment by the FPSC to different groups and departments.

There are 132 male and 82 female candidates who have cleared the exam and recommended for appointment by the FPSC.

The passing percentage of CSS 2019 exams is 2.51%, whereas the percentage of CSS 2018 was 4.77%.
