Educational institutions in the province will remain open as usual, Saeed Ghani
Karachi: Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that educational institutions across the province will remain open as usual.
In a statement, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that the NCOC had already closed some educational institutions in some cities of Punjab and Peshawar for the spring break for 15 days due to the increase of coronavirus cases. Still, there are no such holidays in Sindh.

Saeed Ghani said that the decisions taken in the last meeting of the Sindh Education Department's steering committee would be implemented. All educational institutions in the province are bound to call only 50% of the children, and this process will continue. If there is any news of corona cases in the educational institution, it will be closed.
The Education Minister said that there is no truth in the news of the closure of educational institutions in Sindh from March 15. All educational institutions across the province would remain open as usual.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood announced in a press conference that due to increasing Corona cases in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Azad Kashmir, the government has decided that the situation in Sindh and Balochistan is almost normal. In the provinces, 50% of children will attend school. While educational institutions in Islamabad, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Gujarat, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sialkot, and Peshawar have been closed for two weeks from Monday, March 15, all educational institutions will reopen on March 28
