EdTech startup BrightChamps made its first acquisition with Education10x

BrightChamps is a Goa-based vital skill development edtech startup, founded in 2020 by Ravi Bhushan. BrightChamps is a global enterprise with an emphasis on the United States, Canada, Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The startup is one of the few Indian firms to reach a $500 million valuation in its first year. The company provides real-world lessons that are frequently overlooked by schools around the world.

BrightChamps has made its first acquisition since its launch in 2020, with the acquisition of a New Delhi-based edtech startup Education10x which is a financial education platform for students. Education10x has been bought by BrightChamps in a cash and stock agreement. BrightChamps' objective of delivering a one-stop shop for innovative life skills to children in the K-12 segment is being fulfilled with this acquisition.

Education10x claims to have created the world's first gamified finance program for kids and teens aged 8 to 16 years old. The interactive curriculum of the startup provides a live one-on-one class approach taught by finance professionals with CA and MBA degrees.

Currently, Education10x provides teaching sessions to students in 20 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United States, Canada, the UAE and Qatar. All of Education10x's cofounders and employees have joined BrightChamps as part of the acquisition, and they will continue to run the firm.

The addition of financial literacy classes coincided with the acquisition of Education10X. Product, technology, growth, content, operations, sales, marketing, and business development are all areas where the startup is aggressively hiring.
