CSS Exam to be Counted as Fourth Attempt by FPSC
CSS Exam to be Counted as Fourth Attempt by FPSC
On 4 May 2023, the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) will hold the Special CSS Examination, which will be regarded as the candidates' fourth (additional) attempt.
Vacancies have been unfilled for a long time due to an extremely low passing rate of candidates in the main CSS Exam. Therefore, the commission made this decision to fill them.
The FPSC will accept online applications for the MCQ-Based Preliminary Test (MPT) for the Special Exam from 10 to 26 December 2022.
The MPT will take place on 31 January 2023, and the results will be announced on 15 February 2023.
On May 4th, 2023, the FPSC will conduct the written portion of the Special CSS Exam.
Additionally, the maximum age limit for MPT will be 32 years, and the fee for MPT will be Rs. 250, which must be paid by the deadline. Candidates can also view the syllabus of MPT on FPSC's website.
