Coronavirus: UHS Lahore extends closure of university to April 11
The University of Health Sciences in Lahore has extended varsity’s reopening date from March 29 to April 11 as the COVID-19 cases surge rapidly in the city.
In a notification issued on SunCoronavirus: UHS Lahore extends closure of university to April 11day, the management stated that "all the academic activities planned for the duration shall be continued through online mode".

The notification further states that the ruling will apply to all constituent and affiliated colleges.
Notification stated that "however, all the university examinations shall proceed in accordance with the notified schedule".
The notification came two days after Punjab University announced that it has postponed off-campus exams that were due to begin in April.
According to University of Punjab the annual examinations were scheduled to commence on April 1 and 15.

The university stated that, "It is hereby notified that the off-campus examinations of Associate Degree in Arts/Science Part-II and Part-I, B.A. Hearing Impaired and B.A/B.Sc. Special Category [Doctor/Nurse/Fazil/Wafaq-ul-Madaras/Additional Subject(s)] are postponed."
However, the university has confirmed that the new date will be announced two-weeks prior to the exams.
