COMSATS University will establish a campus in Kohat: Federal Minister
Shibli Faraz, the Federal Minister of Science and Technology, has announced the establishment of a COMSATS University campus in Kohat.
The minister added in a video message that, in keeping with Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision, the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) is establishing a campus of COMSATS University in Kohat to help the youth of the former Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). Students from further places will be able to receive technical education on the site, he said.
The ministry is now working on the project, according to the minister, and the campus will meet international standards. He went on to say that the campus would have all of the latest amenities, including hostels. He further stated that property has been purchased for the campus's construction, and that President Dr. Arif Alvi will be the first to inaugurate it.

On January 14, 2022, the DDWP approved the COMSATS University Kohat Campus. The project's entire cost is Rs. 1949 million, with the ministry proposing a budget of Rs. 389 million for the coming fiscal year.
He appreciated the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and all other stakeholders who assisted the ministry with this project.
