Several students expressed anger against the authority after the first Intermediate Annual Board Examination in Karachi finished on Monday marked with mismanagement and cheating.
A social media video was shared on Twitter on Monday showing female students at the Women’s College Nazimabad lamenting and expressing anger against the maladministration by the college management and teachers at the exam center.
“There were only two question papers that were circulating in a class of hundreds of students, it was chaos,” moaned one of the students. Another student said that the teachers mistreated them when they wailed and complained about teachers not providing them individual question papers.

“They took our answer sheet even before the finish time,” said another student while adding their academic year will be wasted due to the mismanagement at exam centers.
According to reports, several other incidents of the paper leak were also reported in Sindh as the board begins Intermediate Annual Exams across the province.
Most reports of the paper leak came out from interior Sindh where paper reportedly circulated on WhatsApp groups before the exam started. Cheating material and mobile phones were also openly used by the students in presence of staff in Mehrabpur and Nawabshah, said the reports.
The Physics question paper was reportedly leaked before the examination started and circulated on social media in Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Mehrabpur, Nawabshah, Thari Mirwah, and Shaheed Benazirabad while administration remained stationary.
