A five percent increase has been made to the education budget in Balochistan to combat illiteracy and provide quality education.
An official with the provincial government said on Friday that 62 schools have been upgraded and 10,000 teachers are being hired.
According to Farah Azeem Shah, the spokesperson for the Gwadar government, the power plant and airport will be operational on March 23rd.
Balochistan's government is committed to providing quality education to the youth to end education backwardness, Shah said.
According to her, all available resources are being used by the provincial government to improve all sectors, including education, at every opportunity.
From class 2 to class 6, students are participating in a program that will help them brush up on their skills. This will enable them to advance in their educational endeavors in the future.
According to Farah Shah, the government intends to equip youth with the latest education by making all the resources available and keeping in mind the modern-day needs.
A total of 9,396 teachers were recruited, including 450 IT experts. There was a plan to train these newly hired teachers in modern skills by investing Rs605 million in a teacher training program.
According to the Balochistan government, union councils will be responsible for recruiting teachers. This is in order to overcome the shortage of teachers across the province.
