All Educational Institutes to close from Nov 26 till Jan 11, Shafqat Mahmood
The Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood has announced the closure of all educational institutes from November 26, till January 11, due to the 82 percent increase in Coronavirus cases in the educational institutes.

The decision on the closure of educational institutes was taken by the minister in all provincial conference here on Monday.

A special meeting of the Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference was held today under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Education and Vocational Training Shafqat Mahmood. The panel reviewed the situation after the fast-growing Corona cases in educational institutions and decided to close the institutions effective November 26. The online education system and other alternative sources were also discussed in detail. Health Ministry officials briefed the meeting on the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the country.
