AIOU Welcomes Teachers to Apply for Jobs

‘Aaghi LMS’, the Online Learning Management System used by Allama Iqbal Open University, continues to promote its Digital Transformation drive to improve the education services offered to students. AIOU invites highly motivated and experienced academicians to join their team as part-time tutors.

As per AIOU policy, this initiative aims to register candidates with a strong understanding of online teaching tools and technologies. The link below is where all such applicants can apply for e-Registration: https://tr.aiou.edu.pk

There are thousands of tutorship opportunities available at AIOU. Tutors at AIOU check the assignments of students registered through Distance Learning Programs at AIOU. As per the assignment, tutors are paid. AIOU's web portal allows applicants to submit applications online. Registration for AIOU tutorship ends on October 10th, 2022.

AIOU Tutorship Criteria

Matriculation/SSC: Master's Degree with at least 2nd Class
HSSC & Intermediate: Minimum 2nd Class Masters Degree
Minimum 2nd Class Masters Degree in the Relevant Subject for Associate Degree
An MPhil or PhD degree in the relevant subject is preferred but not required for the master's or bachelor's degree (4 years)
ADE and B.Ed: Minimum 2nd Class MA Education / M.Ed
The relevant PhD, MS/MPhil degree is required

Registration requirements for AIOU tutors

For government teachers in BPS 16 and above, at least two years of teaching experience are needed
A minimum of three years' teaching experience is required for government teachers working in grades 11 to 15
Post-qualification experience in teaching is required for private school teachers
The teacher should have two years of post-qualification experience in a reputed large school network, affiliated college, or degree awarding institution
University visiting faculty: One year post-qualification teaching experience
No teaching experience required for Ph.D./MPhil degree holders
