A total of 25k candidates appeared in the KMU test
On Sunday, the Khyber Medical University Centralized Admission Test (KMU-CAT) for admission to the doctoral programs in pharmacy, physical therapy, and allied health sciences was conducted in 13 centers across the province.
A total of 25,296 candidates participated, including 18,342 males and 6,954 females. In 72 hours, the test results will be available on the KMU official website (http://cat.kmu.edu.pk).
In three centers in Peshawar, including Islamia Collegiate School, Forest College and Government High School No. 1,544 students appeared, 1,530 in Abbottabad, 787 in Malakand Chakdara, 4,434 in Swat Kabal ground, 2,241 in Mardan, 1,030 in Kohat, 679 in Dera Ismail Khan, Parachinar Kurram 316, Timergara Dir Lower 1842, Bannu 962 and Swabi 931.
Professor Dr Ziaul Haq, KMU's Vice Chancellor, said conducting the CAT for allied health programs was a daunting task.
