EdTech’s post pandemic’s positive effects in classrooms

The pandemic took the world by storm which impacted our lives negatively in every aspect, education being one of them with lockdown implementation all over the world, students had to go through a gap in their studies but not for long, since technology already existed, lockdown sparked a technological revolution in educational institutions and the pandemic just boosted the pace of provisioning. This lead to a number of startups of remote learning tools and apps which proved to be more convenient and interesting for both teachers & students.

Teamwork:
In the classroom, group work has always been vital, and technology helps to facilitate peer-to-peer learning, seamless collaboration, and collective worksheets. For example, correction notes. Collecting students' contributions on paper used to be difficult and time-consuming.
With tools like Google Docs and Microsoft OneNote teachers can keep an eye on teamwork from afar and contribute as needed. There are other learning tools available too which facilitates collective and interactive learning activities.

Enhanced marking:
Assessment can be made easier with the use of technology. Batch-marking uploaded work is possible. Teachers can use OneNote or other applications, to easily and rapidly dictate spoken feedback, complete with recorded notes, supplemental materials, and referrals for students, parents, and colleagues. Voice notes are very helpful for language teachers when it comes to clarifying pronunciation.

Learning via educational gamification:
The increasing gamification of education is taking place, with apps inspiring users through cooperation, competition, and engagement as quizzes are becoming quite popular among children.
The use of timers and polls in class helps to focus the thoughts of young students. Whether it’s labeling body parts or detecting poetry devices, drag and drop games on interactive whiteboards or tablets are a lot more fun for them.

Interactive content:
When all of a student's senses are engaged, he or she learns best. Other than YouTube there are a bewildering number of internet resources available for bringing learning to life and integrating the outside world into classrooms to make the learning process more interesting and better like Khan Academy and ActiveLearn. Teachers can also post their own curriculum online for students to enjoy at their own time and at their own pacing.

EdTech may not be able to address all problems, but it is undeniably making teachers' jobs easier while also encouraging the next generation of learners. There's a lot to be enthusiastic about, with new ideas and innovations appearing on a daily basis.
