AIOU expands the network to remote areas
Allama Iqbal Open University has speed-up the extension of internet network to Villages and remote areas of the country to provide a uniform educational opportunity to the students countrywide.

While talking to an inauguration ceremony for regional center Moro (Sindh), Director Regional Services, Dr. Inam-ulllah Sheikh said that to materialize the dream "Education for all”, a regional center in each part of the country was needed. In this regard, he said that local officers and vice-chancellors are meeting the government authorities in all the provinces to acquire land for model study centers.

He further said that the Moro University regional center is a rented building that has been donated by an influential person in the area Ghulam Nabi Morai.
