The final decision on re-opening of universities to be announced today
The Inter-provincial conference for the final decision to re-open educational institutes is scheduled today under the presidency of Minister for Education and Vocational Training, Shafqat Mahmood.

The educational institutes were closed down across the country earlier this year due to coronavirus pandemic. The final decision of re-opening institutes, online educational plans, conducting of the examination will be decided following the advice shared by provincial education ministries. The conference will be conducted via a video link.

The conference was scheduled to happen on Thursday, July 2, and was delayed because of the Education Minister's mother's demise.
Earlier, the federal government had decided to keep the educational institutes closed from March 15 till July 15 due to coronavirus pandemic.
