Teacher Arrested for Exploiting 12 Year Old Student

In Lahore, the police of Barki police station arrested a teacher who was exploiting a 12-year-old student.

The Barki police took action on the instructions of SP Kent Issa Sukhera. The accused, Qari Amjad, sexually abused a 12 year old student coming to a madrassa for education.

SP Issa Sukhera said that the accused was immediately arrested and a case was registered against him. Qari Amjad Barki teaches at a madrassa located within the area of the police station.

He said that any kind of abuse and harassment against boys and girls would not be tolerated and those involved in sexual exploitation of children would be severely punished as this has been an ongoing issue since quite some time and there needs to be an end to this.
