Sindh to announce exam dates soon

The exam dates for boards in Sindh will be announced within the next few days, confirmed the sources close to Sindh Education Minister, Saeed Ghani.

According to reports, the examinations of Matric and Inter students would be held in only elective subjects. They added that the dates of exams in Sindh would be decided within the next few days.

Earlier, in series of tweets, the Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced the decisions taken during the IPEMC meeting. “We took some important decisions today Re exams, “the exams for 9 and 10, the exam will be for elective subjects including math, whereas, for 11 and 12 only elective subjects exams will be taken,” he said in one of his tweets.

Responding to a query from the Twitter user as to why there was no announcement regarding the universities, the minister wrote on the microblogging website: “All universities are allowed to open from Monday.”

Ghani said that the Sindh Government agrees with the decision at the IPEMC meeting, however, the schedule for exams will be different for Sindh from what the federal government has decided.
