Punjab Government announces new academic calendar

Rawalpindi: The new academic year will start from May 15 in all government schools across Punjab, while the annual examinations from nursery class to class seven will be held in the last week of April till the first week of May.

A new special Covid pattern of annual examinations has also been released. Under this yearly examination pattern, 50% marks will be given to the students on their homework performance, while the 50% marks will be counted from their exam evaluation.

The annual exams will be taken in a usual manner. Education officials have been informed that the summer holidays will start between June 10 and 15 this year, and all schools will reopen from August 15.
