As part of the opening of the Khatam-un-Nabiyeen (SAW) University in Lahore, Punjab's Chief Minister (CM), Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, also laid the foundation stone for Jamia Masjid Khatam-un-Nabiyeen (SAW).
Additionally, he announced that general elections were soon scheduled for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to the CM, the decision to create new districts and divisions in the province has been lauded by citizens, and Talagang will remain under Rawalpindi rather than Mianwali.
Pervaiz Elahi also inaugurated the Punjab Assembly (PA) building earlier this year, which took 15 years to complete.
