Punjab boards committee to change pattern of matric and Inter exams
SAHIWAL: A new format for yearly matriculation and intermediate examinations to be held in 2022 has been accepted by the Punjab Boards Committee of the Chairmen.
The revised pattern will be followed for the next matric and intermediate tests across Punjab.
Chairman of the Sahiwal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Hafiz Muhammad Shafiq, acknowledged it to the media on Saturday at his office.

He noted that under the Cambridge method, a new paper layout had been developed and accepted, taking into account students' general knowledge, practical application, and understanding of subjects.
He explained, "The new paper will be divided among 20 percent multiple choice questions (MCQs), 50 percent short answers, and 30 percent long answers."
