President Alvi encourages young people to take advantage global IT market

President Dr. Arif Alvi advised students on Sunday to take full advantage of the IT-related global market, which might aid Pakistan's entire development and prosperity.

"There are billions of possibilities for smart app development." Pakistan is about to take the plunge. Pakistan is undergoing transformation. "The world is the market for IT gadgets," he remarked during an international webinar hosted by the Joint Cultural Society for Communities Collaboration on "current entrepreneurship elements in the digital age."

"Youths can take advantage of the current and unique opportunities in the area of information and technology, and allow entry to the ever-expanding global IT sector, which offers enormous opportunities for advancement and wealth," the president stated.

Dr. Alvi stated that the Punjab Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority, in conjunction with Facebook/Meta, had educated 3,000 women to access the internet and planned to train another 100,000 women for women empowerment.

He expressed hope that the youth would educate themselves for the swift IT changes occurring around the world, and that they would bring honour to the country while also providing chances for employment.

He claimed that the government had built human resources for a digital society in urgent need of skilled youth.

"Of the 2.4 million persons who applied for the Digi skills initiative, around 1.6 million have progressed to the next stage," he continued.
