Peshawar Education Department released performance report of all districts
After several months of stalemate, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Primary and Secondary Education, with the technical assistance of DFID, has announced the results of the District Performance Score Card (DPS) for November 2020. The meeting held at the Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education reviewed the performance of 56 male and female district education officers from 13 districts of the province. Indicators for quality and access to higher education and measures taken in schools on the Corona situation were also kept.

Addressing the function, Education Minister Shahram Khan Tarakai said that check and balance would continue in the education department. The best performers would be given incentives, and action would be taken against those who performed poorly.
The Education Minister said that practical steps should be taken to provide facilities in schools, and the Education Monitoring Authority and all education authorities should take steps to use masks in schools. All teachers should mobilize students and inform them about Corona safety measures before starting the class.

"Thanks to e-transfer, the transfer will now be only once a year and we are trying to make the management posting transfer based on performance," he said. The Education Minister directed that the transfers of clerical employees who have completed the term of 2 years should be done immediately.
He said that we are paying special attention to the teachers and students and all the reforms we are bringing to the betterment of the education system. Male and female officers got the first position in other indicators. On occasion, Education Minister Shahram Khan Tarkai presented certificates to the District Education Officers who secured first positions and praised their excellent work.
