The Federal Education Minister, Shafqat Mahmood, hoped that with the federal education ministry is doing their best to advance the country's education sector; the collective policy relating to educational criteria would be beneficial for upgrading academic standards.

While meeting the Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani, the federal minister said that educational institutes are set to reopen in phases September 15 to September 30. Both the federal and Sindh education ministers stated that governments are doing their best to overcome the academic loss incurred by the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

The federal education minister also rejected the impression that English was being omitted from the "uniform curriculum" proposed by the government. He said that the English language would remain a part of the curriculum with the objective that students should not be overburdened.
