Lucky Cement launches scholarship program for students
Lucky Cement Limited has announced yet another scholarship initiative for the youth of District Lakki Marwat as part of its ongoing commitment to support education in Pakistan and give affordable education to qualified students.
Eligible students can apply for graduate and post-graduate scholarships through this programme. According to a news release issued on Wednesday, the Company would cover the tuition fees of the selected pupils.
The criteria for the selection is simple; students who live permanently in the District of Lakki Marwat and have a District’s domicile can apply for the programme through the Company's website.
Students from this district will be able to get degrees from prominent Pakistani universities as well as KPK government universities through this scheme.
Students can apply for jobs in a variety of fields, including business administration, engineering and medicine.
The program's goal is to make education inexpensive and accessible to worthy students, particularly those from rural areas, regardless of their financial circumstances. In keeping with its long-term goal of providing merit-based assistance to worthy and underserved members of society, the Company has awarded a number of scholarships to students at Pakistan's top universities.
Furthermore, the Company has been supporting two leading Government girls' schools in Karachi, which have been transformed into model girls' educational institutions in conjunction with an NGO, in order to empower women through education.
This is the second group of students to receive these scholarships; the Company previously announced grants for intermediate and vocational courses for students in the District of Lakki Marwat.
