Kashmiri students cleared from allegations of match celebrations.
Students from Sher E Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura, one of the two institutions under fire for allegedly cheering Pakistan's victory over India last Sunday, were not present at the celebrations, and the institute's premises were not used, according to a report released by SKIMS' fact-finding panel.
The report is based on a thorough examination and analysis of a video that leaked on social media shortly after Pakistan defeated India in a T-20 match at the current competition in Dubai. It was determined that neither the institute's facilities nor its students were employed in the celebrations.

Dr. A G Ahangar, the director of SKIMS, assembled a five-member panel from top academics to investigate if students had shouted for Pakistan. The investigation team was tasked with verifying the video's truthfulness and determining if the SKIMS was involved in the dispute.
After two distinct videos appeared on social media showing students enjoying Pakistan's victory over India's cricket team, police filed two separate anti-terrorism complaints against the staff and students of SKIMS and Government Medical College, Srinagar on Monday.
To commemorate Pakistan's triumph over India, several Srinagar neighbourhoods erupted in fireworks and crackers. The bogus film ascribed to SKIMS was the subject of a FIR filed in the Soura police station under sections 13 ULPA, 105 A, and 505 IPC.
