In another episode of cheating: A policeman was caught
On Friday, a police officer in Karachi was caught red-handed assisting his younger brother in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams.
The event happened at Karachi's Jacob Line Government School. When the uniformed policeman saw the journalists entering the exam room, he quickly fled the scene. The invigilator told a private channel that the cop had arrived to help his younger sibling.
The news comes a day after Syed Sharaf Ali, Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK), stated that no cases of question paper leaks or cheating were detected on the second day of the SSC Annual Examinations 2022.
According to a statement released by the BSEK on Thursday, the board chairman paid surprise visits to several test centres with other officials to examine steps taken to avoid cheating and paper leaks.
The examiners informed the BSEK chairman that no candidate would be allowed to enter the examination room without first being thoroughly checked.
If the paper starts late, the board chairman instructed all centre supervisors to give students extra time. He also advised examiners to give students cold water and to avoid the cheating culture at all costs.
