HED Punjab has established a special performance review committee to examine all government sector colleges' annual progress and release its results at the end of each academic year.

The particular performance evaluation committee will judge all colleges based on the quality of education provided, campus discipline, teaching staff methodology, and efficient administrative activities.

The step is part of HED Punjab's departmental reforms, which seek to promote a safe, competitive educational atmosphere that meets international standards and practices.

Also, HED Punjab has finalized a policy structure for selecting appropriate applicants for vacant principal positions in public sector colleges across the province.

A special committee headed by the Minister of Higher Education will interview prospective applicants to decide their eligibility under the scheme. Seniority, competence, relevant management experience, and aptitude for the position would all be factors in determining the candidates' scores.
