HEC Warns Students & Parents about ‘Clinical Applications’

The Higher Education Commission has issued a notice to undergraduate students and parents about degrees and diplomas that require ‘clinical applications’. HEC has informed universities not to allow said applications to take place unless it has been authorized by the commission itself.

Subjects and courses such as Dermatology, Cosmetology, Radiology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, Cardiology, Neuro-Physiology and Hemodialysis, are among some of the courses which are issuing degrees and diplomas without consulting the relevant parties as well as the Higher Education Commission itself.

The Higher Education Commission has declared this as a violation of regulations and has also emphasized how it can damage future employment options for students who enroll in such courses. Future employment opportunities could potentially be at risk, and HEC has made certain that its warning be adhered by institutions who have not sought the permission of relevant bodies.

HEC has stated that it will not accept or attest degrees and diplomas that ignore the advisory.
