Govt policies dissatisfy parents, PPP leader

Peshawar: In light of the uncertain coronavirus situation, Naeem Khan Omerzai, the provincial leader of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), has asked the prime minister and Chief of Army Staff (CAOS) to take note of the tension between parents of Cambridge Education System students.

The PPP leader claimed that parents had spent millions of rupees on their children's education but that the current government's policies had dissatisfied many parents.

He said that the "responsible people of the Cambridge Education System board" had postponed examinations across the world, Pakistani authorities were stubborn about taking exams from students.

He said students were unable to complete their education courses or study for the examination due to the continuing pandemic.
