Govt. of Baluchistan announces winter vacations for schools
Education Minister Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind has stated that the Balochistan government has agreed to start the winter vacation in the province before the scheduled time.
The Minister confirmed that in light of the outbreak of coronavirus cases throughout the province, the provincial government has taken this decision.

According to the report, the winter vacations in Balochistan's educational institutions will begin on 1st December 2020 and last until 28th February 2021, with a new academic year scheduled to start on 1st March 2021.
Rind's statement comes one day after the Inter-Provincial Conference of Ministers of Education (IPEMC) failed to reach an agreement on the closure of educational institutions and early and extended winter holidays across the region.

Following the meeting, the Federal Minister of Education Shafqat Mahmood announced that a decision on the matter would be taken at the IPEMC meeting on 23rd November.
Meanwhile, Sindh's Minister of Education, Saeed Ghani, has taken the proposal for an academic winter vacation in the province out of the equation this year, claiming that due to the Coronavirus pandemic, students have already enjoyed enough extended holidays in 2020.
