Even though spring break has been declared in a few cities in Punjab, including the federal capital and Peshawar, due to a rise in coronavirus positivity rates, he said the break would not be observed in Sindh.
"We may go to a lockdown if the situation escalates," Minister Ghani said of the recent increase in coronavirus cases.
He also talked about the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) conference, where it was decided to close schools for two weeks in some cities. He repeated that when the Federal Minister of Education, Shafqat Mahmood, requested that schools be opened to maximum capacity, the Sindh government refused.
