Fulbright scholarship program announced by USEFP

The Fulbright US student scholarship program for the year 2023 has been announced by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP). The competition is part of the prestigious Fulbright Program, the US Department of State's flagship award, which is available in 160 countries.

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit, which is defined widely and not solely on the basis of grades and test scores.

Eligibility Criteria:

Rita Akhtar, USEFP Executive Director, encouraged qualified applicants to apply if they "intend to work for the social or economic progress of Pakistan and aspirations of studying in the United States."

Bachelor’s students who are eligible for Master’s and PhD can apply

Students from all disciplines except clinical medicine are eligible

Benefits:

The program covers all costs associated with pursuing a graduate degree at top US universities

The scholarship covers tuition, room and food

Insurance and air travel is also covered.
