All Board exams have been postponed till May June, Shafqat Mehmood

Federal Minister of Education Shafqat Mahmood has announced that the examinations scheduled for March through Pakistan's educational institutions will be postponed. He said schools and colleges are closed for an extended period, so the students cannot finish their academic work. It is not possible to conduct the examinations in March.

The concerned authorities will shortly declare the new timetable for the beginning of examinations. Students are urged to complete their syllabus and concentrate on their studies.

The minister added that the examinations are scheduled to occur in May or June instead of in March. The regular timetable for academic and examination activities was interrupted due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. It has been decided to limit the summer break for the students to resolve the students' educational failure incurred by COVID-19.

Educational institutions have also been ordered to stay closed to protect students and staff from the deadly virus. The new academic year will begin in August by keeping in mind the postponement announcement of the exams.
