The Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood said on Monday that there will be no exam from the smart syllabus as it was allowed previous academic year. “Exam will be from the entire syllabus,” he said while taking to Twitter after Inter-provincial education ministers’ conference.
During the meeting, important decisions were made with regards to upcoming exams. The decision to pass the Matric and Intermediate students was also taken. It was noted that because of the pandemic the re-examinations of the failing students were no longer possible in near future.

The minister also emphasized on the need for reopening educational institutes since the widespread vaccination has taken place in the education sector.
He said that educational institutions should reopen as soon as possible.” A recommendation to this effect will be made to NCOC,” he stated.
