A 12 year old boy got into the University of Dubai
At the age of twelve, most children are more focused on sports and fun than on education, and even in school, 12-year-olds are usually in sixth or seventh grade. However, a talented 12-year-old boy from Dubai was admitted to the university.
A pre-teen genius named Adam Al Rafi got accepted into Dubai's Wollongong University. Adam Al Rafi has been enrolled in a media related course at the university and has also become the youngest person to enter a university in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
From the age of one, Adam began studying, and by the age of four, he was attending both primary and secondary schools. In an interview with local media regarding his admission to the university, Adam Al Rafi said, "I am excited for everything. The feeling of attending to university as the youngest person in the UAE is very exciting.” he said. "I will be happy switch to the subjects I’m interested in."
In addition, he will continue his 11th grade education while attending university once a week. Among the youngest people in the world to enroll in a university is Michael Kearney of America, who entered the University of South Alabama at the age of 8 and graduated at the age of 10.
